Frederick Douglas said it best, What to the slave is Fourth of July? Well, unfortunately we as free Americans, we still experience racism and systemic enslavement to date BUT, this day is another day off. A day to spend with friends and family, barbecue and eat good, refreshing drinks, sweet treats and the day’s favorite… enjoy fireworks.
